FASHION AND ELEPHANTS

MXN Designs to Save the Elephants!

I am so excited to announce that one of my couture pieces is going to be part of a really incredible event in the Northwest called Elephantasia. Since World Elephant Day (August 12th 2015), this international collection of elephant-inspired eco-couture has raised awareness and funds for the conservation of elephants alongside the Wildlife Conservation Society, 96.org and the Gabby Wild Foundation Inc.

We have been invited to be a part of this event and make a fashionable statement for the 96 Elephants that are killed EACH DAY (in Africa alone).

MXN is a ready to wear brand that I have launched that is all about creating body conscious rocker clothing that is eco aware, cruelty free and produced ethically. If you want to read more about my new brand please, please, please read more about it on this blog and follow @MXNFashionHouse or me @NuneHovCouture on social media.

Our Elephantasia gown is going to show at Vancouver Fashion Week, tour for 3 years and then be sold at an auction where all the proceeds go towards saving the elephants. I mean, there is NO better feeling than that. Buying a beautiful gown to save lives and change the world.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

xoxo
